Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator supports the Human Resources department by performing a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role is essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR processes, including onboarding, employee records management, HRIS data entry, reporting, and compliance tracking. The HR Coordinator works closely with HR Business Partners and other HR team members to support the employee lifecycle and maintain efficient HR operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating orientation schedules.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Support recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, posting job ads, and communicating with candidates.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from HR systems for compliance and decision-making purposes.
- Track and maintain compliance-related documentation (e.g., training completion, I-9s, EEO data).
- Coordinate employee changes (promotions, transfers, terminations) in HR systems and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and employee communications.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Ensure confidentiality and data privacy in all HR-related matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or HR support role preferred.
- Familiarity with HR processes and employment laws is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
