Youll be responsible for aligning HR practices with business goals, fostering a strong workplace culture, and ensuring compliance and operational excellence across the site and corporate Wood Products Resources. A Day in the Life
As the Senior HR Manager at our Moundville facility, your day may begin with a leadership huddle to align on operational priorities and workforce needs. You might then meet with department heads to discuss staffing plans, review performance metrics, or strategize on employee development initiatives. Midday, you could be facilitating a training session for frontline supervisors, conducting a stay interview with a high-potential employee, or resolving a workplace concern with empathy and professionalism. Youll also collaborate with corporate HR partners on compensation reviews, benefits updates, or compliance audits. In the afternoon, you may lead a project for the enterprise HR team focused on engagement initiative by reviewing onboarding feedback from new hires, or finalize plans for a recognition event. Throughout the day, youre a visible, trusted presencewalking the floor, checking in with team members, and reinforcing a culture of safety, respect, and excellence.

Oversee benefit programs to ensure accessibility, accuracy, and compliance.

Project Management and Strategic HR Initiatives
Lead HR projects that support enterprise priorities and drive site-level impact.

Compensation Management
Implement fair and competitive compensation practices aligned with business performance.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Manager with direct people management responsibilities
- Experience in full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration
- Strong background in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution
- Ability to design and deliver training and development programs
- Knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and HR best practices
- Skilled in internal communications and employee engagement strategies
Preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience managing HR initiatives across multiple business units or locations

The base salary range for this position is $93,700 - $149,900. Actual base salary is based on the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate.
