Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady LLP is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Processor with HR Generalist experience to lead our bi-weekly payroll processing using ADP Workforce Now. While the primary responsibility of this role is accurate, end-to-end payroll execution, the position also supports broader HR functions including onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll in ADP Workforce Now, including updates to team member data, timekeeping review, deductions, and audits.
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and internal policies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related matters, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Collaborate with the Recruiting Manager to onboard new hires and ensure timely payroll and benefits setup.
- Support benefits enrollment, changes, and questions, including open enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and compliant team member records and assist with audits and policy updates.
- Respond to employee inquiries and assist with team member relations and engagement efforts.
- Assist with job postings, applicant screening, and interview scheduling when needed.
- Maintain and manage employee data in ADP and other HR platforms.
- Prepare regular reports on payroll, headcount, and compliance metrics.
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of hands-on payroll experience using ADP Workforce Now in a multi-state environment.
- Background in general HR functions such as onboarding, benefits, or compliance.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations and labor laws.
- High attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
Preferred:
- Experience with additional HR systems or ATS platforms.
- Prior work in a law firm or professional services setting.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification, or willingness to pursue.
