We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Irvine, California. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring compliance with HR policies, supporting business needs, and optimizing organizational practices. Responsibilities:
• Review, update, and implement company compliance policies to align with California labor laws.
• Assist the HR Director in organizing and maintaining employee-related documents using cloud-based platforms such as OneDrive.
• Support organizational goals by fostering employee development, engagement, and retention strategies.
• Develop and oversee HR strategies, systems, and procedures to enhance business operations.
• Ensure adherence to legal requirements in all aspects of human resource management.
• Identify training needs and coordinate the implementation of effective training programs.
• Provide management with actionable insights and recommendations using HR metrics.
• Collaborate with leadership to address employee relations issues and provide solutions.
• Manage benefit functions and onboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for employees.
• Utilize HRIS systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Proven experience in HR compliance, particularly with California labor laws.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and HR administration practices.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms and cloud-based document management tools.
• Ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies and training programs.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in using software such as Teams, OneDrive, and Paychex.
• Demonstrated ability to manage benefit functions and onboarding processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with management and employees.
