We are currently hiring a Human Resources Manager for a full-time, direct placement role in the Louisville area. This is a unique opportunity to partner with the leadership of a fast-growing, family-owned business to create a Human Resources department. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for a range of generalist duties, including policies, procedures, safety, benefits, compensation, performance management, labor relations, and staffing. Specific Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain cost-effective recruitment and selection activities to ensure a pool of qualified candidates for all open positions. This includes developing selection criteria, preparing job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires.
• Analyze headcount, turnover, and other personnel statistics and make recommendations for new/revised policies and procedures regarding employment
• Recommends policy, practice, and procedure revisions.
• Administer all related paper flow for increases, promotions, transfers, terminations, performance appraisals, etc.; maintain all related records.
• Administer company benefits and respond to employee questions and needs for information regarding benefits at the local facility.
• Maintains all employment records, including Employment files, Medical files, Training Logs, Payroll Records
• Handle workers’ compensation reporting, administration, and appropriate communications to minimize all work-related employee inquiries, illnesses, and liabilities.
• Administers payroll for all facility employees and maintains payroll records
Qualifications/Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years of solid Human Resources experience.
- Proven leadership and organizational experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Dedicated to customer satisfaction and excellent interpersonal skills
