A services company near Malvern is looking to add a Director of Human Resources to their team due to growth. This organization has seen significant growth over the past decade and will need a leader who will continue to drive both the company and department forward.
Position Overview
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the company. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with executive leadership to align HR strategies with organizational objectives.
- Lead and develop HR team members to deliver best-in-class service across all HR functions.
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Lead organizational development efforts, including change management and employee engagement strategies.
- Develop and implement HR metrics and dashboards to monitor performance and provide data-driven insights.
- Act as a trusted advisor and coach to managers on HR-related issues and leadership development.
- Manage HR budgets and resource planning effectively.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to build rapport across all levels of the organization and lead with empathy, fairness, and consistency.
