We're hiring our first People Operations role to build the foundation of our people function with significant autonomy to build scalable systems / processes as we grow. This is a strategic role combining HR operations, benefits administration, and workplace experience. You'll manage everything people-related, from employee lifecycle management to culture-building and office operations. This role reports to our VP of Finance.

What You'll Do

Own the people function end-to-end, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance processes, manager support, and HR compliance
Run recruiting operations and talent pipeline infrastructure (tools, processes, coordination), partnering with leadership to support hiring plans
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions and sensitive people matters, operating with high judgment and discretion
Help administer and optimize benefits programs (health insurance, 401(k), perks) and serve as point of contact for employee questions
Manage HRIS systems, employee records, and people analytics to inform headcount planning and organizational decisions
Design and execute team events, offsites, and culture initiatives that strengthen engagement and retention
Oversee day-to-day office operations including facilities, vendors, supplies, and budget management

Who You Are

5+ years of experience in people operations or HR, preferably at a startup or fast-paced tech/fintech company (20-100 people ideal)
Proven experience with benefits administration, HR compliance, and HRIS platforms (ADP)
Track record of building people / recruiting processes and systems from scratch in a high-growth environment
Strategic thinker who can balance hands-on execution with longer-term planning
Exceptional judgment handling confidential employee matters with discretion and empathy
Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle HR responsibilities and workplace experience seamlessly
Genuine passion for creating cultures where people thrive and building the people function as a competitive advantage

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
