We're currently seeking an ambitious HR and Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team in San Diego or Irvine! This is a hybrid position with significant work-from-home flexibility. As OCMI grows, our HR team is working towards best-in-class practices, and you will be a significant part of the team that gets us there! We will train you in areas where you lack experience! (Note that the first 3-6 months of this role will have responsibility to cover a role where the incumbent is currently on leave.)

Responsibilities:

Candidate Concierge: Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all new hires.
Perform full lifecycle recruiting as needed.
Play lead role in recruitment marketing and engagement
Onboarding Administration: Manage the administrative aspects of onboarding, including preparation of new hire materials and coordination of orientation sessions.
Training Coordination: Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for new hires and ongoing professional development for existing staff.
Maintain accurate and timely reports using ATS (Applicant Tracking System), HRIS (Human Resource Information System), and Microsoft Excel.
Work closely with Hiring Managers, Recruiters, and cross-functional teams (HR, IT, and Administration) to facilitate effective execution of people-related projects and tasks, including culture, engagement, total rewards, performance management, and general HR administration.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree required
We’re open to the extent of your experience: (1) those recently graduated with a degree related to Human Resources, (2) recent graduate with an unrelated degree but HR related internships, or (3) several years experience in recruiting or HR related support.
Outstanding verbal and written communicator, relationship builder, and structured doer.
Intermediate to advanced user in MS Office Suite
You are an ambitious and confident self-starter seeking to grow your career in Human Resources and/or Recruiting.
