Bank located in Midtown is looking for an experienced HR manager to direct workday operations and payroll for over 1,000 employees. The position is hybrid, 3 days in office in Midtown.

Responsibilities:

Partner with various HR teams to define and modify business processes related to the configuration of Workday and other HR systems
Act as subject matter expert for Workday (day-to-day troubleshooting and emergency intervention when required)
Own all integrations including day-to-day maintenance, configuration changes, and initial setup.
Provide strategic leadership for Payroll function by developing and overseeing the administration of policies and procedures
Lead team of associates who administer payroll for 1000+ employees, ensuring timely and accurate bi-weekly and ad hoc payroll processing.
Provide Workday support to all departments on matters related to Workday functionality.
Audit and approve transmissions for tax and garnishment payments along with related reports.
Identify opportunities for existing process and system improvements, as well as appropriate new technologies.
Manage the preparation of annual W-2 and related tax filings, as well as any other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum of 6+ years of related HRIS, Payroll, and Time & Attendance system experience.
Must have experience managing Payroll/HRIS team.
Must have experience configuring Workday.
Workday certifications are a plus.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) a plus.
Excellent communication skills – verbal, written and presentation.
