We’re seeking an HR Coordinator to support day-to-day people operations and generalist HR functions in Seattle, Washington. This long-term contract opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative accuracy, employee support, and recruiting coordination in a collaborative environment. The person in this role will help keep HR processes organized, ensure records remain current, and contribute to a positive experience for employees and candidates alike.
Responsibilities:
• Guide new hires through onboarding activities and help deliver a consistent, well-organized start to employment.
• Maintain employee and HRIS records with a high degree of accuracy, including payroll-related details and time-off balances.
• Review information across HR systems, investigate inconsistencies, and resolve record issues affecting payroll, leave tracking, and employee data.
• Coordinate recruiting logistics by arranging interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting hiring teams as openings move through the process.
• Update and maintain applicant information in Greenhouse to keep recruiting activity current and well documented.
• Contribute to HR process improvements by supporting training administration, compliance-related workflows, and performance management activities.
• Provide adaptable assistance across HR programs and partner with internal teams to keep people operations running smoothly.
• Support light office administration for the Seattle, Washington workplace and assist with planning company events held during the year.
• Experience supporting onboarding, HR administration, or employee lifecycle processes in a detail-oriented setting.
• Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and the ability to manage employee records with accuracy and discretion.
• Familiarity with payroll-related data, candidate screening coordination, and core HR compliance practices.
• Experience using recruiting systems such as Greenhouse for interview scheduling, candidate tracking, or hiring coordination.
• Ability to identify data discrepancies, troubleshoot issues across systems, and follow through on resolutions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the flexibility to shift between recruiting, HR operations, and administrative support.
• Proficiency with common HR tools and systems, including platforms such as Paychex or similar human resources management software.
