Position Summary
This role requires strategic reasoning and thinking, use of data to guide work, being comfortable challenging convention and, in some cases, influencing leaders to reassess how work is done. Function as a hands-on HR Professional with a consultative approach to deliver exceptional talent processes and solutions that meet business needs. Partner with leadership and lead the HR team to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HR programs and services. Evaluate process, programs and talent to develop and implement solutions that maximize the effectiveness of the HR Team. Reports to VP Human Resources.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Lead Compliance efforts to include updating policies and procedures, auditing to ensure adherence. Implement and manage Affirmative Action Plan.
- Lead Employee Relations strategy to achieve high level of employee performance, to include policy, investigations, discipline review, performance improvement plans, and guidance to leaders. Identify root cause to issues and implement systemic solutions.
- Lead Employee Experience Initiatives. Partner with leadership to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement and retention. Conduct stay and exit interviews, analyze data and identify trends that inform retention efforts. Coach and influence leaders to enable high performance and engagement. Lead the Administration of Employee Surveys, including compiling and analyzing data.
- Lead the HRIS Strategy. Manage the utilization of the HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now) while ensuring data integrity. Identify and implement improvements to optimize talent process, efficiency, and employee experience. Develop and maintain data-driven reporting and analytics to evaluate and elevate the effectiveness of HR programs and processes. Proactively identify and implement process improvements that enhance HR Process efficiency and employee experience. Provide insightful data to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions.
- Lead the management of HR programs and processes, including Unemployment, FMLA, Leaves of absence and accommodations, background checks, and drug testing.
- Assist with acquisitions, including due diligence, impact analysis, change management and integration.
- Partner with Talent Development Specialist to identify necessary skills and competencies training for the organization.
- Assist in developing and delivering L&D platform, performance management, talent calibration and succession planning. Assist in implementing performance management processes and systems to drive employee performance and development. Provide guidance and training to managers on performance management best practices. Collaborate with leadership to set performance goals and objectives aligned with organizational goals.
- Assist in developing and delivering comp & benefits strategy, to include pay structure, incentive plans, merit process, market adjustments, and benefit plan design. Conduct benchmarking and pay equity studies. Recommend total rewards strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- 10+ Years exempt-level HR experience.
- 5+ Years supervision experience.
- Multi-site, multi-state responsibility.
- ADP Workforce Now Prior Experience.
- Valid Driver’s License.
Preferred
- Graduate degree in human resources, business, or related field.
- HR Experience in industrial, environmental, construction, or manufacturing industry.
- Experience helping to support company acquisitions.

Job demands and work environment
- Frequent walking, standing, and sitting for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting and moving of equipment up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in industrial environments, including exposure to loud noise, heavy machinery, and potential environmental hazards.
- Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines, analyze operational challenges, and make high-stakes decisions.

- Travel required, including overnight stays as needed
