Job Summary
The Senior HR Manager leads all people operations for the site, including talent acquisition, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. They are responsible for aligning HR strategies with production goals to drive organizational performance and foster a positive, high-performing culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR initiatives that support long-term manufacturing strategy and plant-level business objectives.
- Talent Management: Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and production roles, focusing on attracting skilled labor and building a sustainable talent pipeline.
- Employee & Labor Relations: Lead investigations, mediate disputes, and all other employee relations in this non-union environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA) and safety standards like OSHA.
- Performance & Development: Manage performance appraisal systems and lead training programs for frontline supervisors and plant staff to enhance leadership and technical skills.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HRIS data to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as turnover rates, absenteeism, and cost-per-hire to inform strategic decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 7–8 years of progressive HR experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role specifically within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or PHR are highly desirable.

- Conflict Resolution: Strong negotiation skills to handle complex labor issues and disciplinary actions.
