ABOUT THE ROLE
The HR Manager for Midea Spain will lead the full spectrum of HR operations, ensuring alignment with regional HR strategy while building solid local HR foundations. This role oversees core HR cycles, payroll delivery, policy development, and day-to-day people support, acting as a key partner to business leaders and a hands-on enabler of efficient, compliant, and scalable HR practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead Spain HR Operations and Team Delivery
- Act as the HR Manager for Spain BU, ensuring high-quality, responsive, and business-oriented HR service delivery, and build a reliable local HR support model that balances operational excellence with business needs.
Drive Talent Retention and Organizational Stability
- Partner closely with business leaders to strengthen employee engagement, retention, and workforce stability. Monitor retention risks, support managers in performance and people-related matters, and drive action plans to improve employee experience.
Own Labor Cost Planning and Control
- Take ownership of labor cost management for Spain BU, including HC planning, HR budget tracking, salary review, bonus coordination, manpower analysis, and cost monitoring. Partner with business and finance stakeholders to ensure labor cost decisions are controlled within budget and aligned with organizational priorities.
Ensure HR Compliance and Risk Control
- Take full responsibility for local HR compliance in Spain, ensuring HR practices, policies, documentation, and employee lifecycle management comply with labor law, internal controls, and company standards.
Execute Regional HR Cycles with Local Ownership
- Lead the execution of core HR cycles for Spain BU via proper usage of SF(Success Factors) system, including workforce planning, performance management, salary adjustment, bonus review, and HR reporting, ensuring full alignment with HQ and regional requirements.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree or above, fluent in both English and Spanish;
- Proven local HR experience in Spain for at least 10 years, with a strong C&B background;
- Solid knowledge of local labor laws, statutory requirements, payroll practices, and HR operations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on, structured, and comfortable balancing both operational tasks and strategic HR responsibilities.
