The Corporate Recruiter is responsible for helping develop and attract talent within positions of high demand. In this role you will be required to recruit and screen candidates relating to roles within skilled trades. This position will also have responsibilities outside of just recruiting. These responsibilities include consistent relationship building within our own company as well as technical schools and business within our industry. This individual is an outside the box thinker and consistently develops new avenues to attract talent proactively that can steadily be used in times of need. As an aspect of Human Resources you will also find yourself assisting with activities relating to culture, paperwork, policies, and ability to retain confidential information.
Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with all recruiting activities between Nebraska, Kansas and Texas.
- Focus recruitment efforts on positions related to but not limited to; General Labor, Quality Control, Carpentry, CDL Drivers, Foreman and mid-level office positions.
- Complete cold calls daily for high demand positions in order to recruit talent.
- Utilize current (Indeed, Facebook, LinkedIn, Radio Ads, Referrals) and develop new avenues to attract and retain talent.
- Focus on developing partnerships, internships, and sponsorships with Technical Colleges in Nebraska and Texas, ultimately having one filter school for every location.
- Attend career fairs and college events as the sole representative or with assistance.
- Support locations with aspects related to employee onboarding.
- Frequently visit facilities in order to develop relationships with Managers and plant personnel.
- Must have a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or a relatable Business field of study.
- 2+ Years working in an industry related to construction or manufacturing.
- Bilingual would be a huge plus!
