We are looking for a dedicated HR Recruiter to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a pivotal role in sourcing, screening, and onboarding top talent to meet organizational needs. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about building strong relationships with hiring managers and ensuring compliance with recruitment processes.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with managers to assess staffing needs and develop job postings to attract candidates with relevant experience.
• Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new hires.
• Conduct thorough background checks and prepare new employees for orientation programs.
• Build and maintain strong applicant pipelines by developing relationships with local schools and attending career fairs.
• Manage the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of candidate information.
• Monitor and report employment metrics, such as time-to-fill and turnover rates, to provide insights to leadership.
• Stay informed on human resources trends by attending workshops and reviewing industry publications.
• Contribute to the achievement of HR strategic goals by preparing action plans and implementing process improvements.
• Lead special HR projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
• Exemplify the organization’s core values and serve as a role model for others.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems and other recruitment tools.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations; Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle high-volume recruiting.
• Self-motivated team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to helping others succeed.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail, with the ability to promote the organization effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software tools.
