Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists with HR auditing and processes and makes suggestions to improve department efficiency.
- Frequently updates and works within HRIS for the company, demonstrating precise work and confidentiality of all sensitive information.
- Updates payroll records by entering changes in insurance coverage, benefits deductions, income withholding orders, job title changes, department changes etc.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Assists with answering questions from Team Members relative to payroll, standard policies and procedures, benefits, code of conduct, etc.; escalates more complex questions to appropriate members of the Human Resources Team.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department as needed.
- Assists with payroll functions including creating manual checks, processing, answering employee questions and fixing processing errors.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for multiple departments.
- Verifies I-9 documentation and maintains current books.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation and relative data entry.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related area preferred.
- 2-3 years office experience preferred.
- If you are tasked to drive as a part of this role, then it is required that you have a clean driving record and a current Driver's License that is not suspended or expired.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
