Job Description:
The HR Manager will serve as a strategic partner to plant leadership and employees, leading all aspects of human resources management at the Hanon Systems facility. This role is responsible for fostering a high-performance culture through talent development, employee engagement, labor relations, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Provide guidance and direction on HR policies, practices, and programs to support business goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Talent Management:
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, and development initiatives to attract and retain top talent.
- Employee Relations:
- Foster a culture of open communication and trust. Handle employee concerns, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations in a fair and consistent manner.
- Labor Relations (if applicable):
- Manage union interactions, contract negotiations, grievance procedures, and ensure compliance with collective bargaining agreements.
- Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as Hanon Systems policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.
- Training and Development:
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs to enhance employee capabilities, leadership development, and organizational growth.
- HR Metrics and Reporting:
- Track and analyze key HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and employee engagement. Provide insights and recommend solutions.
- HR Project Management:
- Lead or support corporate HR initiatives, system implementations, and continuous improvement efforts within the site.
Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or automotive environment
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
- Experience working with unionized environments is a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven ability to influence and partner with all levels of the organization
Degree Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources
