As the Director of HR for Retail, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing human resources strategies to support our business objectives. You will be responsible for creating a positive and inclusive work environment and managing employee relations across our retail network.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership:- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team in delivering effective human resources services
Employee Relations:- Develop retention strategies to foster a positive workplace culture and reduce turnover.
- Act as a trusted advisor to management on employee relations matters.
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensuring legal compliance.
Training and Development:- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and skill enhancement.
Compensation and Benefits:- Partner with compensation and benefits leader to ensure competitiveness in the market.
- Periodically review and update the organization's compensation structure.
Performance Management:- Implement performance management processes to drive employee productivity and development.
- Provide guidance on goal setting, performance feedback, and improvement plans.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
- Working with SKIMS corporate, to execute initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
- Collaborate with leadership to create an inclusive and supportive work environment.
Compliance and Legal Affairs:- Stay informed about employment laws and regulations, ensuring organizational compliance.
- Address legal matters related to HR and employee relations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus. (SHRM or HRCI)
- Proven experience as an HR leader.
- Experience in the retail industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive HR initiatives that support business objectives.
- Experience in fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
