Our Client is seeking an experienced Human Resources Leader to provide coaching, guidance, and strategic support to site leaders and associates. This role is instrumental in driving compliance, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring effective workforce management in a dynamic distribution/manufacturing environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide coaching on employment issues including policy interpretation, dispute resolution, corrective action, leaves of absence, harassment, and terminations.
- Lead Sysco Speaks Associate Survey efforts, analyze findings, and recommend actions to drive organizational improvement.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Develop and maintain Affirmative Action Programs, complete EEO reporting, and ensure EEOC compliance.
- Conduct investigations and prepare responses to EEOC claims, unemployment claims, and related matters.
- Partner with site leaders to create workforce staffing plans and coordinate recruiting efforts to attract diverse, skilled talent.
- Support Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives to reduce accidents and promote a culture of accountability.
- Provide day‑to‑day direction and support to site HR staff, offering proactive guidance and issue escalation.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of HR leadership experience (10 preferred) in distribution/manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Proven ability to lead investigations, manage employee relations, and drive organizational change.
- Preferred certifications: PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, or SHRM‑SCP.
