The HR Manager is responsible for Human Resources functions for the U.S. group. This position also manages Accounts Payable including day-to-day invoice processing functions as well as monthly and yearly processes. This position works with and reports to the senior controller to assist in various accounting tasks as necessary.
HR Manager Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Process payroll and oversee time & attendance systems (Paylocity, SuccessFactors).
- Manage employee lifecycle activities (new hires, terminations, status changes, onboarding).
- Serve as liaison with MSSA for HR, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Administer PTO tracking and maintain personnel records.
- Support recruitment, job descriptions, company policies, and handbook updates.
- Ensure HR record retention and compliance.
Accounting / Finance
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable (invoice entry, GL coding, PO processing).
- Process 1099s, W-9s, vendor payments, and PosiPay bank files.
- Perform journal entries, account reconciliations, and AP corrections.
- Maintain cash control spreadsheets and conduct bank reconciliations.
- Enter expense reports and intercompany/vendor deposits in Navision.
- Assist with audits (workers’ comp, unemployment, 401k).
HR Manager Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in controlling, HR, or related accounting functions.
- Strong ERP knowledge; Navision experience preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Power BI preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data and present information clearly across all levels.
- Effective communication skills; fluency in English required, Spanish preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
