Tank Connection LLC is seeking an experienced and hands-on**Human
Resources Director**to join our manufacturing leadership team in a
planned**succession role**. This position offers a unique opportunity to
work alongside our current Human Resources Director for
approximately**one year**before transitioning into the Director role
upon their planned retirement.
This role is ideal for an HR leader who understands the complexities of
a multi-location environment and values building strong relationships
with plant leadership, supervisors, and hourly employees.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner closely with the current HR Director to ensure a smooth and
effective transition
- Provide leadership across all HR functions within a manufacturing
setting, including employee relations, labor and employment
Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Training, Compensation And Benefits,
and performance management
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the plant leadership and
executive management
- Support a safety-focused, high-performance manufacturing culture
- Guide workforce planning, engagement, and retention initiatives for
both hourly and salaried employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
**Qualifications**
- **Minimum of 5 years of progressive human resources experience
preferred**, with demonstrated experience in a manufacturing or
industrial environment
- Proven leadership experience, preferably at the Manager or Director
level
- Strong working knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and
manufacturing workforce challenges
- Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a
related field (Masters degree preferred)
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification or the ability to obtain
certification within 12 months
