We’re seeking a HRBP III to partner with operational leaders and drive HR excellence at the distribution center level. This role ensures consistent application of HR programs, supports business performance, and champions an employee‑friendly culture.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Recruitment & Staffing
- Source, recruit, interview, and hire qualified talent for hourly and salaried roles
- Lead on‑site hiring events, job fairs, and agency coordination
- Manage new hire onboarding, orientation, and system activations
- Oversee temporary labor fulfillment and agency performance
- Complete exit processes and system deactivations
Employee Relations
- Apply and interpret company policies; ensure compliance and documentation
- Provide coaching to all employee levels on ER topics, escalating when needed
- Lead internal HR audits and maintain employee, I‑9, and HR file systems
- Maintain required monthly HR reporting
Compensation, Benefits & Recognition
- Manage the hourly performance review and merit processes
- Support pay structure changes and payroll reconciliation
- Administer benefit enrollments, terminations, and changes
- Coordinate monthly recognition and reward activities
Employee Engagement
- Foster strong communication and positive employee relationships
- Coordinate the Employee Opinion Survey and improvement plans
- Maintain high visibility on the floor to build trust and approachability
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with OSHA postings, reporting, and log maintenance
- Submit safety and accident reports per company procedures
- Oversee ID badge processes and compliance
Additional Responsibilities
- Mentor HR Generalists
- Lead assigned special projects
- Support shift flexibility based on operational needs
What you'll bring:
We’re seeking candidates who bring:
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience including staffing, employee relations, performance management, timekeeping, and/or safety
- Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle recruitment and high‑volume staffing needs
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills across all employee levels
- Proven ability to apply sound judgment in complex HR situations
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM‑CP, etc.)
