Pacifica Services is looking for an ambitious, self-driven and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to help our Company find and retain excellent employees! The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover extraordinary talent, build a solid employment brand and ensure strong relationships with both candidates and employees.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate innovative recruitment and sourcing strategies to attract high-quality construction management professionals
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts including job intake meetings, application review, pre-screening interviews, interview coordination, reference checks, salary negotiations, and verbal offers using the company’s applicant tracking system.
- Partner closely with Corporate Team Leaders, and Business Development to understand project pipelines and forecast hiring needs aligned with upcoming construction projects and proposal efforts.
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines of both active and passive candidates through industry networking, professional associations, job boards, social platforms, and construction-focused sourcing channels.
- Attend industry conferences, career fairs, trade events, and university recruiting events to promote the company and attract interns, entry-level professionals, and experienced construction talent.
- Develop partnerships with local colleges, universities, and trade programs to support early career hiring initiatives.
- Manage and enhance the employee referral program to encourage internal brand ambassadors and increase quality candidate referrals.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Conduct candidate and hiring manager satisfaction evaluations and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
- Maintain and update the company’s career page, job postings, and recruitment marketing materials to strengthen employer branding within the construction industry.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of job descriptions and ensure accurate documentation within the filing and tracking systems.
- Maintain an organized candidate database and resume filing system to ensure efficient sourcing and compliance.
- Analyze hiring metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on recruitment progress, workforce trends, and strategic hiring initiatives.
Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of experience recruiting for the A/E/C industry
- Demonstrated high level of knowledge of and experience with full cycle recruitment for all position levels and functions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong commitment to diversity and employee engagement
- Hands on experience with a variety of talent engagement tools - LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, job boards, etc.
Education, Training & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
- HR/Recruiting certification (HRCI, SHRM, ARIS, etc.), preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of Human Resources law
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Word, Excel and Power Point
Employment Type/Schedule:
- Full time/40 hour week
- Monday to Friday
