- As the Plant HR Leader, this role is fully responsible for the strategic planning and daily operations of human resources, supporting the manufacturing team to operate efficiently. Must be proficient in U.S. labor laws, possess a manufacturing background, and excel in cross-cultural communication (bilingual in Chinese and English). Responsibilities include driving employee recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance system development.
- Requires a factory background, with the automotive parts industry preferred. Factory experience is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish and English is required; Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Core Responsibilities
1. HR Strategy
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with plant business objectives, optimizing organizational structure and staffing.
- Analyze labor market trends and formulate talent attraction and retention strategies.
2. Recruitment & Staffing
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment for blue-collar, technical, and management positions, including job postings, interviewing, background checks, and onboarding arrangements.
- Establish skilled labor recruitment channels by partnering with local community colleges and industry associations.
3. Employee Relations & Compliance
- Handle employee complaints, disputes, and labor law compliance matters, ensuring adherence to U.S. regulations such as EEO, FLSA, and OSHA.
- Promote a safety culture by organizing safety training and workplace injury prevention programs.
4. Training & Development
- Design skill enhancement programs (e.g., Lean Manufacturing, equipment operation training) and establish internal promotion pathways.
- Manage the performance evaluation system and coordinate leadership development initiatives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Manage salary structures, overtime policies, and benefits plans (e.g., medical insurance, 401K) to ensure market competitiveness.
- Conduct regular compensation surveys and propose adjustment recommendations.
6. Cross-Cultural Communication
- Serve as a bridge between the headquarters in China and the local team, coordinating policy implementation and cultural integration.
7. HRIS Management
- Maintain HR Information Systems (e.g., Workday, SAP), ensuring data accuracy and report generation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of HR experience in the manufacturing industry (automotive industry preferred); proficient in U.S. federal/state labor laws.
- Skills:
- Proficient in English; proficiency in Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
- Proficient in HRIS and MS Office; strong data analysis and conflict resolution skills.
