Robert Half is partnering with a Milwaukee manufacturing organization in the recruiting for an HR Generalist to join their team supporting day-to-day human resources operations and will have the opportunity to handle a wide range of HR functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a great candidate and employee experience.
- Support benefit administration, employee records management, and HRIS functions.
- Partner with hiring managers to post jobs, screen candidates, and coordinate interviews.
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and payroll.
- Assist with compliance efforts, maintain accurate employee documentation, and process changes in the HRIS system.
- Facilitate or support employee engagement and wellness programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Support performance management cycles and learning and development initiatives.
- Contribute to special HR projects as needed.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of HR experience including internships
• Familiarity with basic HR functions – recruitment, benefits, employee relations, HRIS, onboarding.
• Proficiency in using HRIS systems for data management and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with employees and management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
