The HR Specialist – Talent Acquisition & Compensation to support the Senior
Director of HR, with a primary focus on global recruitment and US compensation
and benefits management. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced HR
professional familiar with US employment and compensation laws.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordination with hiring managers
- Manage new hire orientations and onboarding processes
- Build and maintain strong talent pipelines to meet current and future hiring needs
- Ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience from application to onboarding
- Track and report recruitment metrics to support HR strategy
- Partner with leadership to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies
- Ensure all employees and associated records are appropriately documented in our HRIS system in compliance with federal and state employment laws
Compensation & Benefits Support
- Advise on US compensation for all levels of the organization and ensure compliance with state tax filings
- Administer payroll for the US team, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, COBRA administration, and responding to employee questions related to compensation, benefits, payroll, and other HR matters
- Manage and support unemployment claims and related documentation in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Coordinate global merit increases and salary adjustments with finance and leadership
- Conduct salary banding, pay equity reviews, and benchmarking analyses
General HR Support
- Assist on an ad hoc basis, the Senior Director of HR with projects,reporting, data analysis, and training coordination
- Support employee experience and culture initiatives, including participation in the internal culture club
- Contribute to HR initiatives and special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of HR experience with full-cycle recruitment, payroll administration, and benefits management
- Knowledge of US labor laws
- Experience with ATS or HRIS systems and recruitment best practices
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Able to work autonomously while delivering high-quality results
