HR Manager
The HR Manager will lead on‑site HR operations for a manufacturing facility, partnering with plant leadership to support a safe, compliant, and engaged workforce. This role oversees employee relations, compliance, talent management, and HR operations in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with plant leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and employee engagement
- Manage employee relations, investigations, performance management, and policy enforcement
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and support safety and EHS initiatives
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, and workforce development for hourly and salaried roles
- Administer compensation, benefits, HRIS, and HR reporting
- Support union or non‑union environments as applicable
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing, chemical, or regulated environments
- Strong employee relations and compliance experience
- Union experience and HR certification (SHRM/PHR) a plus
Work Environment
- On‑site manufacturing facility with occasional off‑hours support
