We are looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee and enhance all HR operations within our division in Stockton, California. This contract position requires a detail-oriented individual who can act as a strategic partner to leadership while ensuring compliance with employment regulations and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, policy administration, and HR program management.
Responsibilities:
• Lead recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and employee training programs to ensure workforce development.
• Manage compensation and benefits initiatives to align with organizational goals and employee needs.
• Address complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and terminations, with fairness and integrity.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes.
• Provide guidance to management on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to support organizational objectives.
• Maintain accurate employee records and generate HR metrics and reports to drive informed decision-making.
• Oversee the administration of HR systems and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategies that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Monitor and improve HR programs to align with company standards and workforce needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 6 years of progressive experience in human resources management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage HR functions independently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively interact with employees and leadership.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple HR processes.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and other relevant HR technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in employee relations and workforce planning.
