About the Role
We’re hiring a Human Resources Manager to support this mission-driven provider. This is a pivotal role for a Systems Architect and Trusted Leader who can build robust workflows, lead with emotional fortitude, and drive workforce excellence. The HR Manager will work alongside Zenly to lead the transition from candidate to clinician, ensuring "New Hire Readiness" and operational integrity across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Relational Leadership
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, aligning people strategy with growth goals.
- Foster a values-based culture by acting as a mentor to department leaders through coaching and visible leadership.
- Lead the organization through change as a stabilizing force, ensuring employees feel heard and supported.
- Oversee performance management and conflict resolution frameworks that reinforce accountability.
HR Operations, Systems & Payroll
- Architect and optimize HRIS and payroll platforms by automating workflows to eliminate manual friction.
- Oversee accurate payroll processing with 100% precision and strict regulatory compliance.
- Manage benefits administration, leave tracking (FMLA/LOA), and employment lifecycle documentation.
- Partner with clinic leaders to ensure staffing optimization and real-time workforce readiness.
Compliance & Playbook Architecture
- Lead the development of department-specific HR Playbooks to ensure workflows are streamlined and scalable.
- Maintain expert-level adherence to employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO) and healthcare regulations (HIPAA).
- Direct the creation of functional SOPs that protect the organization while remaining user-friendly for the team.
- Ensure clinical compliance through automated tracking of mandatory training and internal audits.
Lifecycle Management & Professional Readiness
- Drive the Performance Management lifecycle, ensuring feedback loops and reviews are tech-enabled, consistent, and growth-oriented.
- Oversee the Offboarding process with professionalism and technical precision, ensuring secure system terminations and insightful exit data collection.
- Design and execute high-quality onboarding experiences that prioritize mission alignment, early success, and long-term retention.
Qualifications
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including 3–5 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Tech-Savvy: Power-user of HRIS, automation tools, and advanced Google suite.
- Fortitude: Ability to remain a grounded, steady force in a fast-paced, multi-site clinical environment.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for frequent travel between Raleigh-area clinics.
- HR certification (SHRM-SCP or SPHR) strongly preferred.
