Job Description
The HR Manager is responsible for managing multiple aspects of the human resources function, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration. This role partners with leadership to support organizational goals by developing and implementing HR strategies that promote a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and conflict resolution
- Oversee performance management processes, including evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Lead training and professional development initiatives
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR reporting
- Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and change management
- Promote a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace culture
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits questions and enrollment assistance
- Manage annual open enrollment processes and benefits communications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, 5+ years in a management role
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits programs and applicable regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and communication abilities
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Professional HR certification (CEBS, SHRM-CP, PHR)
- Knowledge of SCA contracts, preferred
