Director of Human Resources
What You’ll Do
Relate Search has partnered with a leading manufacturing organization to identify a Human Resources Director to lead talent management, organizational development, culture building/engagement and employee/labor relations initiatives across a leading business segment. This is a unique opportunity to shape employee experience and drive talent strategies that support business growth across manufacturing, corporate, and professional functions.
As a key HR leadership partner, you will collaborate with senior leaders to shape programs that develop talent, engage employees, and strengthen the organization. You’ll also play an active role on the segment leadership team, supporting the business’s continued growth and transformation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business partner and advisor to the senior leadership team as well as key managers throughout the segment to assist in decision-making and engagement throughout the organization.
- Develop a high performing HR team to support the segment’s growth and business objectives. Promote a high level of responsiveness and customer service for internal constituents and develop a team who serves as true business partners for internal stakeholders.
- Provide leadership for talent management initiatives, including talent acquisition, training and development, and workforce planning to support growth and to drive a high-performance culture.
- Focus efforts on culture building as well as recognition programs to retain employees.
- Work with the leaders to identify talent gaps between current and desired organization capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 12+ years relevant generalist HR and people leadership experience; manufacturing industry experience required
- HR Experience in California as well as Canada preferred
- Union experience preferred, as well as experience with field labor
