HR Manager
We’re looking for an experienced and reliable HR Manager to oversee day-to-day human resources operations and serve as a strategic partner to leaders across the organization. This person will manage core HR processes, ensure compliance with internal policies and labor regulations, and provide thoughtful guidance on employee relations matters.
The ideal candidate is organized, confident, and able to balance hands-on execution with sound judgment. They should be comfortable owning HR operations, interpreting policies, and supporting managers and employees with clarity and professionalism.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Interpret and apply company policies, state/federal employment laws, and internal procedures.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including coaching managers, documenting issues, and resolving workplace concerns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations (FMLA, ADA, wage and hour, I-9, etc.).
- Support performance management cycles, corrective actions, and terminations.
- Partner with leadership to promote a positive, respectful, and compliant workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee HRIS accuracy, reporting, and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and process improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- 4–7 years of progressive HR experience with strong exposure to employee relations and compliance.
- Clear understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
- Ability to coach managers, navigate sensitive conversations, and resolve issues with fairness.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills—able to simplify policies and provide guidance with confidence.
- Experience with HRIS systems and basic reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; HR certifications (PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP) are a plus.
