Job Description HR Manager – Training, Development & Operations

A growing private equity firm with a diverse portfolio is seeking an HR Manager to take the lead on training, leadership development, and core HR operations. This role is based on-site in Century City and offers high visibility with senior leadership, as well as the opportunity to make a lasting impact across multiple entities.

What You’ll Do

Training & Development: Build and deliver impactful programs that strengthen leadership capabilities and support professional growth. Partner with managers to identify skill gaps and design targeted learning solutions.
HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure compliance with California and federal labor laws while supporting employee relations, workplace investigations, and performance management.
Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives that enhance onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies across the organization.
Strategic Partnership: Advise executives on HR best practices, organizational change, and people strategies that align with business goals.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (advanced degree or HR certification a plus).
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably across multi-entity or multi-site environments.
Strong background in training program design and facilitation.
Solid knowledge of California employment law and compliance.
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work onsite in Century City, five days per week.
