We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Permanent Senior HR Director. This position is an integral part of our executive team, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our human resources functions. The Senior HR Director will play a critical role in shaping our company culture, developing our talent, and driving our business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
- Develop and implement company policies and procedures.
- Oversee the recruitment process to ensure we attract, hire, and retain the best employees.
- Direct and oversee employee benefits programs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and resolve any discrepancies.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain an awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets, new industry developments and standards.
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as an HR Director or similar role for 5+ years.
- Demonstrable experience with employment law.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and best practices.
- Proven experience in policy creation and employee relations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
- JD strongly preferred. Position is great for someone interested in pivoting away from traditional law practice.
