ProspectBlue is excited to be searching for a Director of Human Resources on-site in Richmond, VA!
We’re partnering with a growing financial institution to bring on a Director of Human Resources who can be a steady, trusted leader across all HR operations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional who loves keeping things organized, thrives in a regulated environment, and values clear communication and strong relationships.
What you’ll do:
• Lead day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS/ATS, and employee records
• Make sure HR practices stay compliant with employment laws and banking regulations
• Own the full recruiting process and help create a consistent, positive candidate experience
• Support employees and managers through employee relations and performance matters
• Work closely with the CEO, providing timely updates and helping the organization stay aligned and stable
What we’re looking for:
• Bachelor’s degree + 7+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong understanding of employment law, HR compliance, and documentation
• Someone who is organized, communicative, and comfortable handling sensitive matters
• Experience in banking or another regulated industry is a plus
