Job Title: HR Director
Location: Port Arthur, TX
Pay: $140,000 - 150,000

Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years managing a team at high-growth companies.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required)
- Demonstrated success helping scale a company, ideally including rapid headcount growth.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, compliance, and employee lifecycle management.
- A builder and problem-solver, comfortable creating processes from scratch.
- Experience supporting international employees, including immigration and visa processes
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Own all HR operations including onboarding, compliance, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
- Serve as the company’s first HR/People leader, owning and building all core HR functions.
- Develop and implement policies, systems, and processes to support a scaling organization.
- Work closely with leadership on hiring strategy, talent planning, and org design.
- Track and drive key hiring metrics (e.g., new hires per quarter, retention, onboarding effectiveness).
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies across all relevant jurisdictions.
