What You’ll Bring to the Table
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as an HR Generalist; previous HR management or lead-level experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success partnering strategically with executive and senior leadership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and convey it with clarity.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, coaching, and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Analytical and data-driven mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize effectively, manage multiple workflows, and delegate when appropriate.
- A commitment to acting with integrity, professionalism, discretion, and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Familiarity with HR compliance, employment law, and best practices (federal and state specific).
- Comfortable with regular, in-office presence.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate closely with executive/senior leadership and our CEO to address complex, specialized, and sensitive HR issues while also managing routine day-to-day tasks and requests with care and professionalism.
- Serve as a strategic partner to people leaders by supporting performance management, performance reviews, coaching, and employee relations to ensure alignment with company values and goals.
- Oversee and administer core HR functions, including benefit selection, open enrollment, 401(k) administration, payroll coordination, leave management, onboarding and offboarding, new hire orientation, and compliance support for SOC2, 5500, and wage audits.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits questions, HR policies, and workplace concerns.
- Manage office administrative functions, including coordinating snacks, drinks, and supplies, maintaining overall office organization, and negotiating contracts with the landlord as required.
- Lead the recruiting process end-to-end, including partnering with hiring managers to develop job descriptions, determine position levels & salary ranges, and identify top candidates; posting positions and managing the applicant tracking system; conducting initial phone screens; coordinating all video and on-site interviews; preparing offer letters; and coordinating onboarding with internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and execute company events such as monthly meetings, lunch-and-learns, employee appreciation activities, and company parties.
- Coordinate the full offboarding process to ensure a thoughtful, compliant, and well-documented transition for departing employees.
- Act as a liaison between employees and the property management team for facilities requests, access needs, and general office upkeep.
- Maintain and update HR policies, documentation, and processes to support operational excellence and compliance.

- Direct experience leading an HR function, including strategic planning, policy development, and overseeing all HR operations.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or other HR certification.
