As the HRBP, you will provide strategic guidance and daily support for the field teams. In addition, the HRBP will build strong relationships with field leadership to understand operational challenges and provide HR support. The HRBP will lead the Performance Management Process, which includes goal setting mid-year reviews, annual evaluations and development planning. You will facilitate training and development initiatives that include leadership development, skills enhancement and compliance training. Ensure compliance with HR Compliance and labor laws, including federal, state and local regulations. Lead Operating Procedure Documentation for HR processes that impact field teams. Onboarding new candidates and collecting necessary background information as well as assisting employees while at work.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze employee trends to understand ways to increase employee engagement and retention
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to daily management of employees
- Assist management in conflict resolution
- Set standards for ethics, values and culture of company
- Onboard new employees and implement and support Wellness Programs to promote employee wellness
- Partner with Legal and VP of HR on Legal Matters, ensuring decisions mitigate risk and align with policy and labor laws
- Manage HRIS processes for field employees, including employee changes, data accuracy, reporting and workflow optimization
- Lead Operating Procedure Documentation for HR processes that impact field teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2 - 3 years of experience in HRBP or generalist experience supporting field/operations teams
- At least 5 years HR experience
- Certification: PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP preferred
- Able to travel as needed
- Strong organization, communication and conflict resolution skills
- Demonstrated ability to onboard new employees and manage HR tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, advanced Excel and HRIS
- At least 5 years in HR
- Prefer knowledge of California employment laws
- Critical/creative thinking
- Attention to detail
MUST LIVE IN TAMPA, FL area and be able to report to work daily
