Under the direction of the SVP, Global Head of People, the Director of People Operations leads the HR team in the areas of HR policies, employment law, benefits, compensation, performance appraisal, employee incentive programs and organizational best practices. The Director of People Operations will engage with executives, internal stakeholders, and direct reports to align human capital strategies with the company’s mission and business goals. This role will champion ONE’s team members professional growth and wellbeing to create a supportive and inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Global Head of People to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
- Administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to: compensation, benefits, leave; disciplinary matters; disputes, investigations; performance appraisals, talent management; productivity, recognition, employee incentive programs; occupational health and safety; and training and development
- Provide guidance and leadership to the human resource management team; assist with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues
- Develop and maintain annual review processes for employee development
- Identify key performance indicators for ONE’s human resource and talent management functions
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration or similar field
- 5-7 years of experience in a human resources leadership role
- HR leadership experience in e-commerce, sales, or call center environment is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- PHR or SHRM certifications strongly preferred
