ROLE
The Human Resources Director will collaborate closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to design and execute strategies that enhance employee engagement, improve retention, and strengthen organizational culture. This role is ideal for a seasoned HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and is eager to make a direct impact.
ACCOUNTABLE FOR
· Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CHRO to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
· Employee Engagement: Design initiatives to boost morale, retention, and organizational culture
· Performance Management: Oversee performance appraisal systems focused on feedback and development
· Compliance & Policies: Ensure HR practices adhere to all local, state, and federal laws while fostering equity and fairness
· Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage analytics to assess trends, improve retention, and optimize HR processes
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 5 years of HR leadership experience in upper management
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)
· Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment strongly preferred
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills
· Advanced understanding of employment-related laws and HR compliance
· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
· SHRM-CP or other HR certification strongly preferred
· Must reside in or be able to commute to Los Angeles, CA
· Up to 20% travel within California
