We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Manager II to support a fast-paced, people-focused environment. The HR Manager will serve as a trusted advisor to People Managers, supporting a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and key HR projects such as year-end processes and reductions in force.
This role requires strong HR technical expertise, analytical ability, and a hands-on approach to managing multiple priorities in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR support and guidance to People Managers across North America on employee relations, performance management, and organizational initiatives.
- Partner with leaders to manage the colleague lifecycle, including performance reviews, career development, and compensation discussions.
- Coordinate and execute HR programs, initiatives, and year-end processes while ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
- Support organizational restructuring activities, including reductions in force, and act as a liaison for affected colleagues.
- Participate in and manage ad-hoc HR projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business goals.
- Partner with Centers of Expertise (COEs) and People Partners to deliver consistent HR support and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Maintain awareness of employment laws, regulations, and internal policies to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; in lieu of degree, 10 years of relevant HR experience will be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience.
- Experience supporting high-volume HR operations and managers in a corporate or professional services environment.
- Strong background in employee relations, HR analytics, and process improvement.
- Familiarity with year-end processes and workforce reductions.
- Project management experience from planning to implementation.
Technical Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, VLOOKUPs).
- Workday experience strongly preferred.
- Power BI experience is a plus.
