We are seeking an HR Operations Lead to serve as an advisor and subject matter expert in HR systems, processes, and data integrity. This individual contributor role is ideal for someone who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about optimizing HR operations. The HR Operations Lead will collaborate closely with HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of HR programs and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a central point of contact for operational processes requiring research and resolution in Workday
- Ensure data accuracy and compliance across HR system and employee records.
- Partner with payroll, finance, and HR to troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements.
- Support annual benefits enrolment and other cyclical HR processes through system readiness, testing, and reporting.
- Manage vendor relationships as needed to ensure timely and accurate data feeds
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support HR decision-making and compliance.
- Support HR system upgrades, new module implementations, and configuration changes as needed
- Provide guidance and training to HR team members on systems and operational best practices.
- Serve as a resource for ad hoc reporting and data analysis to support strategic HR initiatives.
- Conduct regular audits across HR data, payroll, benefits, and employee services to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
- Proactive hands-on approach to benefits integration troubleshooting/ research / analysis to ensure data integrity.
- Hands on and timely research and analysis of benefits discrepancies to provide directives for payroll processing.
- Review, preparation and correction as needed of benefits data required for payroll processing each cycle.
- Serve as a partner with payroll processors to ensure accurate and timely processing of benefits data.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5–8 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, HR or related roles.
- 2-3 years of Workday experience (or similar application) preferred
- Strong understanding of HR processes, benefits programs, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience with HR system implementations or upgrades.
- Familiarity with vendor management and cross-functional collaboration.
