Summary:
The Director of HR will design and implement the HR framework to support the launch and growth of Bnewfuels’ Gulfport facility. This role requires proven experience building HR structures for startup or multi-state manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals.
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and compliance.
- Support startup activities: workforce planning, policies, and HR systems.
- Advise leadership on employee relations and organizational development.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws in Mississippi and potentially Puerto Rico.
- Build culture, engagement, and retention programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including manufacturing HR.
- Track record in startup environments and/or multi-state operations.
- Knowledge of Puerto Rico labor law preferred.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
