Artemis Staffing, has partnered with a leader in the commercial real estate industry. Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Director to oversee all HR operations across our growing portfolio and workforce. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to executives, managers, and employees while ensuring our people strategy supports the company’s long-term success. The ideal candidate brings a strong HR background, business acumen, and a passion for building high-performing teams in a dynamic, client-focused industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the goals of a large commercial real estate organization.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent across property management, development, finance, and corporate functions.
- Oversee performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and industry regulations.
- Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture.
- Design and administer competitive compensation, benefits, and incentive programs tailored to the real estate industry.
- Provide data-driven HR insights and workforce analytics to senior leadership.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across all business units and properties.
- Partner with executives on organizational development, change management, and workforce planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification strongly preferred but not required).
- 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience supporting or leading HR in a large, multi-location organization (commercial real estate or related industries preferred).
- Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to balance strategic initiatives with hands-on HR management in a fast-paced environment.
