We are looking for an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team on a 2-month contract basis in Katy, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring smooth onboarding processes and maintaining accurate HR records while working in a fast-paced environment. This position is 100% onsite and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team within the energy industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage onboarding activities, including background checks and orientation processes, to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the organization.
• Update and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
• Handle HR-related changes such as promotions, transfers, and terminations with attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Utilize HRIS platforms, preferably Paycom, to manage employee data and generate reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies in all HR activities.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to address HR inquiries and provide guidance on policies.
• Assist with payroll-related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement and retention.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, demonstrating expertise in onboarding and HR administration.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms, with Paycom experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HR compliance, including labor laws and regulatory requirements.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Experience conducting background checks and managing employee records.
• Availability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
