Title: HR Director
Base Salary: $125,000-$135,000 (no bonus)
100% In Person

Currently about 1000 employees in the state of Utah
Responsibilities
- Report directly to the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer and provide strategic HR support to company leadership, including officers and managers.
- Lead recruitment and staffing initiatives by:
- Developing and executing a recruitment plan to attract and retain top talent.
- Analyzing workforce needs and aligning candidates with organizational goals and job requirements.
- Identifying and utilizing effective recruitment sources.
- Creating and maintaining job descriptions, advertisements, and standardized application forms.
- Designing and managing a competitive wage and salary structure, incorporating benchmarking at local, national, and industry levels.
- Oversee talent management and succession planning by assessing current and future talent supply, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to address workforce needs.
- Coordinate employee training and development programs, with an emphasis on recruitment best practices and the use of computer-based learning tools.
- Serve as a key resource for employee relations, addressing inquiries and resolving employment-related issues in accordance with legal standards, company policies, and established practices.
- Manage the performance appraisal process, including:
- Creating evaluation tools and guidelines.
- Ensuring consistent and timely completion across departments.
- Supporting ongoing performance management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state employment laws (e.g., anti-discrimination laws, workers' compensation, unemployment, wage and hour regulations, COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, OSHA, FCRA, and immigration laws), as well as internal policies and contractual obligations.
- Maintain and regularly update the Company Employee Handbook and related HR policies.
- Oversee employment data management through the development and administration of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) to efficiently store, retrieve, and update employee records.
- Support disciplinary processes, including terminations and conducting exit interviews.
- In collaboration with the General Counsel and HR team, investigate and respond to employee claims, such as discrimination or unemployment-related matters.
- Administer and monitor compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Proven ability to take initiative in problem-solving and independently drive projects to completion.
- Experience successfully developing and executing change management initiatives.
- Results-driven with a strong ability to translate strategic vision into actionable goals, plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Skilled in inspiring, leading, and motivating teams to achieve high performance.
Experience
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in human resources management
