TNP’s Corporate Recruiter is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing effective systems, strategies, and processes for identifying, sourcing, and hiring new staff to meet current and anticipated future staffing needs. The primary role of a Corporate Recruiter will be to source, screen, and attract new talent by actively sourcing and building up a network of candidates. This position will be based on-site Monday through Friday, with the opportunity to work from home on Fridays after a training period.
Responsibilities & expectations include:
- Oversee the posting of new positions and sourcing of qualified candidates
- Actively source and seek new candidates
- Monitor incoming applicants within our applicant tracking system
- Screen new resumes and applications
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position
- Grow and foster relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open
- Coordinate and conduct initial phone and video interviews
- Form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments and better understand their hiring needs and job specifications
- Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, and other candidate relationships
- Work closely with the HR Generalists on recruiting needs and collaboration during the recruitment process
- Promote the company’s reputation as “best place to work”
- Attend campus career fairs during the fall and spring
- Develop relationships with professors and other campus staff to assist in recruiting students
- Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal databases
- Coordinate phone and in-person interviews
- Update and prepare job descriptions with hiring managers
- Create interview guides for positions
- Other duties and projects as assigned
At a minimum, candidates must meet the following educational and professional requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or validated expertise in business management, human resources management, or a similar field of study
Professional
- Responsive and service-oriented
- One (1) year of Civil Engineering recruiting experience minimum
- Knowledge of Texas employment law preferred
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing methods preferred
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, LinkedIn and working in an electronic environment
- Committed to ongoing professional development and maintaining current knowledge of the talent acquisition field
- Demonstrated ability to develop solid working relationships with managers & employees
- Demonstrated ability to manage and schedule work to meet objectives & deadlines

Compensation includes:
- A competitive base salary, dependent on skills, qualifications, and experience
- Supplemental pay for additional hours worked in excess of 43 hours
