Job Description
The Vice President of HR Operations plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the seamless delivery of HR services across UF Health.
Responsibilities
This executive oversees HR operations including HRIS, compensation, benefits, talent management, compliance, employee data management, and process improvement across all HR Centers of Expertise (COEs). The VP ensures that HR practices support the UF Health's mission to provide high-quality patient care, while maintaining regulatory compliance and operational efficiency in a 24/7 healthcare environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Seven (7+) years of progressive HR experience, with at least five (5) years in a senior HR operations role within a hospital or healthcare system.
- Proven experience with HRIS implementation and optimization.
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Preferred: Deep understanding of hospital operations, clinical workforce dynamics, and healthcare compliance, Workday HCM and or ERP implementation and stabilization experience.
- SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CHHR Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement certification.
