A well-established organization in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to lead its HR function. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources, including talent management, employee relations, organizational development, compliance, and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all HR functions and initiatives company-wide
- Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership to align HR strategies with business goals
- Oversee talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Guide employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs
- Drive initiatives that support employee engagement, DE&I, and organizational culture
- Manage compensation and benefits strategy in collaboration with leadership
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience at the Director level or higher in Human Resources
- Proven experience developing and executing HR strategies in alignment with business objectives
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and HR technologies
- Bachelor's degree required; HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
