Are you a skilled HR professional passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting employee growth? Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team in Springfield, MO. In this role, you’ll guide HR operations, ensure compliance, and champion employee engagement within a mission-driven, people-focused organization.

What You'll Do:
- Lead day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, benefits, and compliance
- Oversee onboarding processes in partnership with leadership
- Support performance management, professional development, and retention strategies
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain and update employee records and HRIS systems
- Act as a trusted advisor to staff and managers on HR-related matters
- Contribute to a positive, values-based company culture
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of HR experience, including leadership or management responsibilities
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Healthcare or home care experience is a plus
